One brand review: Catrice Cosmetics

Catrice is a german brand who saw the light of day in 2005. It has been created by Cosnova beauty and is also the sister brand of Essence.
The philosophy of Catrice is based on trends, colours, seasons and the art to create different looks with only two or three products.
I first discovered it in my local drugstore (Kruidvat, a dutch compagny) maybe 2 years ago and I decided to start with nails polishes because of the price tag! If I remember correctly, they only cost 2,39€ each here in Belgium. I was also please by the diversity of colours they suggest.
That is the same diversity that made me want to try some other products so I quickly went to the entire brand display and went a bit overboard
Anyhow, now it sits in my make up collection for all this time and I'm not plaining on changing!

Here are the products I've collected and hopefully you'll find my comments and advices interesting!

1# The nail polishes

The colours are amazing and they like to play on words with the names too!

Ultimate nail laquer collection:
240 Sold out for ever (mint green)
480 Miss Piggy reloaded (pastel pink)
780 Welcome to roosywood (blackberry mauve)
410 Pool party at night (indigo blue)
070 Caught on the red carpet (deep red)
060 Bloody mary to go (this one is weird, I have it twice but the colour is not exactly the same, the newest is a deeper red)
430 Purplelized (deep purple with silver and purple flex)
220 Lost in mud (dirty brown/grey)

Ultimate nudes collection

050 Moulin rouge light (peach nude)

Limited edition

30 Lilatric (lilac with gold shimmer)

I think the colour are great, the brush has been changed a couple of times (from thinner to wider) but I find the quality of the polish to be a bit decepointing now I don't know if my nails just prefer more light sensation polish but it does not stick to my nails more than 2 days. And I use the base coat and the top coat. and also the amount of product you get on the brush is not the easier. You see you have to options, one you get loads of product but then it'll get for ever to dry or you don't but then you'll need Three coat...Of course that's up to you.
I have to say that they could still do better but for the price it's decent.

2# Lipsticks

They are so pigmented! the colour are amazing and you can easelly build the intensity. The formulation is very creamy and the matt ones are not as drying as some other brands.
