What's in your suitcase?

Hello everyone!
Sorry for the delay, my beautiful and quite clumsy cat decided to erase my work. So, in stead of rewrite the same stuffs, I decided to wait a bit and find something new  and the subject of this week is holidays, particularly what to take, what to toss and off course what you can't leave without even for 1 week.
The first step to remind you of is: take mini sizes and samples! Don't bother decant you're luxury products into those special 100ml containers, I always feel I'm loosing some of mine when changing bottles or this mini sizes pedicure bag from H&M.

This is one the many options you can find, one is at ICI PARIS XL

1,95€ it exist for feet and hands, different colours

Another step that's not neegligeable, when you're buying cosmectics, ask for samples! they usually don't give good stuffs, but you can always find something that'll suit you.

Now, we all know that with the new flight rules, you can't really put your entire make up cabinet in your toilet bag, no worries! here is why:

When you are travelling in the south, therefore in the sun, you will not need your exactly-the-same-skintone-than-your-ice-white-skin-colour-during-the-year, so don't take it! Prefer a compact foundation who is one or even two colour darker than you usually wear because you will bronze and once again a gain of place in your suitcase.
This one is really handy, it is foundation,
a councealer and a highlighter!

Also, prefer waterproof wake up, nobody likes to redo their make up after 15 min out! Plus, it's not very pretty to look like you're melting all the time is'nt it?
Ladies, is it pointless to take ALL of your eyeshadows because you are sure that the red you bought six mounths ago will suit you better in 36°C...Recommend joining entire make up you've already tried out instead of a buch of different colours who will take-again-to much place into your full of clothes travel bag or suitcase. Even better, if you have duo, trio or quad, take THEM! less plastic containers stuk together, less break... Same for clothes, it is useless to only take 100 shirts for only 2 skirts and one pair of jeans. What I'll do is try load of outfits home and the ones I love, I TAKE (it is not only the time to empty your dusty eighty-kinda closet, but the discovery time)
Last but not least, if you're really dying because you can not take to one pair of shoes that weight 2kg, kindly ask your better half if could put them inside their two shorts two shirts one swimsuit kinda guy!
Hope this helps for some of you, let me know like always what you think/like/dislike.

'till next time,
xoxo

On holiday!

No it is not the song of Green Day passing trough my head, it is the sound of summer. Not this fake kinda rainy crap we've been having for the past two years. I talking about what everyone aspires to when may shows it's nose and that students steals jobs all over the city.
this year is Zorba's time to shine, yes Greece indeed! Welcome to the beach, the sun, the sigal's songs and the teeny tiny bikini ! And the man, off course who will attending this beautiful country of mine for the first time. Oh joy to finally stop worrying (even for 10 days) about what kind of clothes a woman should wear on a supposably called summer season. Bikinis every days and shorts every nights!
Rodos, here we come. But not quite yet, before the plane flies, a fiew shopping articles must be found and hurray it is still sales time to shine!
Severals must haves are of course the sunscreen because people know that dead-white skin does not enjoy 35°C right away and who wants to come back home looking scrimpy? (the colour, not the anatomy), the beloved bikinis and flip-flongs are also joying the party.
Ah sometimes I wish theses 3 items could be enough for my well beeing but..Never without my make up, dresses and heels!
Until then, wish you have the best holiday destinations!
xoxo
